SHOCKING! Boney Kapoor Takes A Sly Dig At Akshay Kumar’s Working Pattern; Says, ‘Jab Tak Honesty Nahi Aayegi Na, Pictures Achi Nahi Chalegi’
Boney Kapoor opened up about actors finishing movies in 25 to 30 days and demanding the full price, and called out their 'dishonest' approach
Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his recently released movie Mili alongside daughter Janhvi Kapoor on November 6. During an interaction with Kapil and Archana Puran Singh, he opened up about actors who finish movies in 25 to 30 days at their convenience and demand to be paid the full price.
While the producer refused to state a name, the internet is buzzing that he is pointing fingers at Akshay Kumar. The actor has always openly talked about finishing the shoot of his movies pretty quickly and not taking time to get into his characters. He often brags about following a very punctual schedule on set. The actor faced the brunt of this confession this year, as all his movies were rejected by the audience and declared a massive failure at the box office. He was seen in Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and Ram Setu. While talking about the intention of some actors’ completing movies in 30 days, he shared that there are a few actors who work on their own wishes and demand to be paid the full price. He expressed that such actors need the setup to be convenient and the heroines and directors to be available at their convenience. He shared that this thought process is dishonest. Whether it's an actor, director, or producer, the film won't work unless everyone on set is honest about what they're doing.

He said, "Kahi aise actors hai jo aise filmein karte hai jaha wo 25-30 din ke kaam pe paise poore chahiye. The intentions from the beginning are only wrong. I don’t want to name the actors but there are quite a few actors who work as per their own wishes. Wo bolte hai ‘kitne din ka kaam hai?’ Unka setup hota hai, bohot convenient hona chahiye jaise - Heroine available honi chahiye, director available hona chahiye - Toh picture kaha achi banegi. Your first thought process is dishonest. Jab tak honesty nahi aayegi na, chahe wo actors ho, director ho, ya chahe wo producers ho, pictures achi nahi chalegi."
